陪同考察或交流口译一般为交替传译形式，分商务陪同、旅游陪同、比赛陪同等。陪同考察或交流内容有时涉及某一领域但翻译内容一般难度不大。技术陪同相对专业性要求高些。担任陪同口译的译员须具备较强的服务意识，并对陪同交流所涉词汇做到心中有数，帮助陪同客户达成预期目的。
